17 years ago we bought a beautiful pile of stones in an abandoned post-war mountain pasture at 850 meters above sea level. They came from the city and light, and larger pieces of sky.
Step by step, we realized we could create wonder by living within the wild nature and enjoying the emotions it gives us every day. Then began the hosting adventure, which brought people from all over the world here, under the incredulous gaze of those who had only watched these places empty. Today, you can come and enjoy an authentic experience away from mass tourism, in a pristine environment where you can still find traces of the rural culture that once inhabited it .
The detached house is located in Poggio, a hamlet of Roccatagliata di Neirone. It comprises three bedrooms (Roots, Herbs, and The Loft), two bathrooms, a living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a games room with billiards and ping pong, and a greenhouse with a wood-burning stove. Private garden with a barbecue, deck, and hot tub offers views of Mount Caucasus and a glimpse of the sea near Camogli. CIN IT010041C2XPWRXS2F.

How to arrive
Dear Guest, The roads in the Ligurian hinterland are very winding and narrow, especially the last 10 km leading to Case Poggio, where you'll be staying. Below are some helpful directions for reaching us. From Genoa: From the Genova Est exit, follow the Bisagno stream and continue towards Piacenza on the SS45 until you reach the roundabout in Bargagli. From here, you have two route options: 1. Continue right towards Chiavari, passing through the Ferriere tunnel, take the SP225 Valfontanabuona until you reach Gattorna, then turn left at the fork indicating Neirone. Continue on the SP21 until you reach Roccatagliata. Continue on the SP21 for 1.5 km and turn right at the fork indicating Poggio/Aia di Zanello. You'll also find signs indicating "Case Poggio." Continue for 900 meters and you'll find us ready to welcome you with open arms. 2. At the roundabout in Bargagli, continue on the SS45 towards Piacenza until you reach the junction on the right for Buffalora (about 12 km). Continue on the "SP Franco Rolandi" for about 1.5 km until you reach the junction on the left for Neirone. Continue on the SP21, passing the panoramic viewpoint of the Passo del Portello (about 3 km) and passing the hamlets of Giassina-Canivelli-Pozzetto, until you reach the junction on the left marked by two signs for "Case Poggio". Continue for 900 meters until you reach your destination. There are currently two restrictions in place in this last section due to landslide work, but you can still pass .
House rules
Check-in is from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. To avoid unnecessary waiting, please let us know your arrival time and, if your GPS tells you you're 30 minutes away, send us a message. Check-out is by 10:00 AM.
-Upon reservation, for a fee of 35 euros per hour, you can take a dip in the Swedish hot tub at sunset. Maximum 4 people.
